My understanding (derived from the research of others) is that Joseph was the son of John Henderson and Mary (Polly) Bane, and that Jane was the daughter of Robert McGee and his wife Jane. I am looking for information on a Robert Henderson who married an E. M. Evans. Sorry no dates or exact location. Could have been in the Wheeling WVa area. E.M Evan's mother was Celia Bell Evans b. ca 1840 in Wheeling WVa. Celia's father was Henry Bradley Evans. d. ca 1840. Henry is stated to have been a Steamboat Capatin on the Mississippi and Oh in a letter of E.M's. Henry's father was William Evans and his mother was Ann Cecelia Bradley.
