My grandfather was Jethro(Dep) his father was Thomas J. and his father was James from SC .... Im wondering if Thomas middle name was also Jethro and maybe that was a family name?? maybe you have some thought on this??

The Woman who is my great-grandmother is "Almeda" Henderson she was a Lloyd before she married my great-grandfather, Her line came from Tenn. she was born 09-11-1869 and died 04-31-1936 in granite City IL. she was married to my great-grandfather in 11-26-1886 at age 17 when he was in his 50's. he had been married twice before and he had a total of 21 children before his death I have not seen a one of those children with the name you are looking for so if you are sure of the spelling of her name i dont think there is a connection--- if you have any other question you think i may be able to help with please let me know

I have exact dates if this sounds familiar. But to my knowledge they did not have children, he had 5 children from his previous wife.     2. I have more information on John than I do Lucinda. I have John parents & brothers/sisters etc. Lucinda had a sister (Rebecca)who married Elijah Jefferson Friend. Brothers were John Thomas Payne who married Mary Polly Herrin, James Albert Payne married Sarah Clark. All these individuals are found in same Franklin Township census. The Henderson, Payne, Long, Herron, Friend, Tabor, Crenshaw, Yocum are all connected. send me your email and I will send you what I have on John Henderson and I will send you also other people who are connected to that family.
