Deanna, I would also be interested in hearing an answer to your question about what to do with living relatives when publishing (albeit desktop style) what I have collected on various branches of my family. I don't have too much worry about what I do and simply hand out to family members. People do, after all, want to know exactly where they fit in. But I have been asked for the material by a couple of genealogy societies in the towns they lived in. This would be where I foresee possible difficulty. I have recently recieved a Death Certificate of Emma Henderson, she was the Daughter of James Henderson & Jenetta Behymer of Carthage Ky (Campbell Co). Emma married a Calvin Henderson (no relation found yet), they lived in Clermont Co. Ohio. In a 1900 Census it shows Calvin - age 36,b.Sept 1863, married 13 yrs.,Parents b. Ky. Emma - age 37,b.Oct 1862, married 13 yrs., parents b. Ky. Earl - age 12, b.July 1887 Eddie - age 11, b.Sept 1888 Letta - age 8, b. Mar 1892 Emma died Mar 14 1914 in Clermont co. and is buried at Watkins Hill Cemetery in New Richmond, Ohio Calvin died Dec 30 1917 also in Clermont Co. and is believed to be buried at same Cemetery. When you break your toes while visiting your mother in NC there is little else to do than work on family tree information. I worked on a power point web persentation. We are now at the stage of what to do about livine relatives. How much information do I publish? Names only, Leave them out entirly? What are your thoughts and what are others doing? Yes this (Isaac Henderson) is my favorite brick wall. I have other brick walls but Isaac is my favorite and the one I just don't get anywhere with. I usually only work on family tree during the summer, because I teach. What I know about Isaac indicates that he and his children were a bit of a handfull, especially Jasper. William H. is the name of the only other son I am certain about which leads me to wonder about one of the William's being Isaacs father but so far it is only a wonder There is a fair amount know about Isaac and plenty about his Jasper and his children. But a brick wall at Isaac's parents. There are 2 William's that would work very well as a father listed in the 1820 and 1830's census. Each has a son who could be Isaac's age. One William appears to be more wealthy than the other in that he had slaves. I know the area he lived in. I have been to the cemetery where he is said to be buried and many other of my ancestors are buried there. I did not talk to anyone at the cemetary. I hope to make it to Raleigh, NC this fall and check there. Thanks for letting me vent. Benjamin is another candidate for Isaac. Problem with Benjamin and Phoebe is that I am fairly certain Isaac was born in 1805. There were and are still McCurry's or is it McMurry's in the area Isaac settled in for many years. And they married Henderson's. Area today is in Polk Co. but very close to the Henderson Co. Border. A pretty wild foot hills area. Time to play is almost over until next summer. School teachers meetings start next week. Peter could have been related to Isaac Henderson, but I really don't know anything about his family except that his children were Lena, Emma, and Henry; and that he probably had a brother named Henry.
