Hello Researchers, It's been about a year since I was on this list before. Meanwhile, I have found a new Elizabeth HENDERSON, b. abt. 1765, probably in Edenburgh, Scotland, m. William HARPER at Edinburgh, and lived after that in Fife, Scotland, a county right next to Edinburgh, but across the Firth of Forth.Until her husband's death, in 1817, they lived at Donibristle Castle, where William was the gardener for the Earl of Moray. Elizabeth d.27 JAN 1839, 24 Clerk St., Edinburgh. Has anyone ever heard of this HENDERSON? Then I still have my other line, starting with John HENDERSON = Nancy SINGLETON, William, Thomnas William, William. The last William is supposed to have come over from Scotland. He died before 1704. Anyone traced that line back into Scotland? Hi, I'm looking for a friend of my father's (both now deceased), and his son. Ronnie is his son. Al Henderson served in the Indiana national guard with my father, but I believe he lived in Arizona. His wife's name was Lib, I guess short for Elizabeth. I have a business card that says Marshall Realty Tucson, AZ. It also says he was MS. USAF (Ret). Any information would be appreciated. I have a real problem trying to find the parents of Mary(Polly) Henderson who was married to Joseph Roper from Jefferson County, Tn (Dandridge). I suspect that her Hendersons were from Monroe County or Jefferson County, Tn. She married Joseph in the late 1700s. After Polly died Joseph remarried. His 2nd wife was a widow by the name of Cromwell. He and the new wife left Jefferson County with his and Polly's children and moved to Shelby County, AL. The Henderson family that Polly was related to came from Scotland to Augusta County, Va. Eventually they made their way to Tn. I have no idea who her parents were!! If anyone recognizes these names would you mind contacting me? Polly had to have died before 1833 the year that Joseph moved his entire family to Al. Gratefully, Myra Daniel
