Married Mary Jane Salkeld in Brazil in 1862 while building the San Paolo railway. Ten years later they were in Holland/Germany. I cannot find them in any UK census.
I am seeking some help on a man who was married to one of our family members. My beginning information was just when and where they married, but I have been able to find a little, although it hasn't been a lot. Glenn Burrus HENDERSON was born 6 Jun 1894 in Illinois. His parents were Douglas J. HENDERSON and Cynthia M. BURRUS. They were married in Fayette County, Illinois, in 1891. I don't know if that is where Glenn was born, but I would like to find out. In 1900 the family was in Pueblo County, Colorado. I haven't found him in the 1910 Census yet. He married Wilhelmina (usually listed as Minnie) KAELBER in Ft. Loillins, Larimer, Colorado, on 14 Jan 1916. In 1917 he filled out a WWI draft card with is name and birth date, and it looks like the place of birth he listed began with an M, but the rest is not clear, but it is in Illinois. In 1920 he and Minnie and 2 sons, Harold and Howard, in Sioux City, Iowa. In 1930 they were back in Denver, Colorado. Minnie died there in 1941. I would like to know if anyone knows this man and can help me find when and where he died. Minnie was from Nebraska, and her body was taken back to Fremont, Dodge, Nebraska for burial. I think, but don't know, that Glenn stayed in Colorado. Thanks for any help anyone has. Ed Scriven

I have seen reference to her as being the mother of William Henderson who was born out of wedlock to Samuel Henderson. I don't know any other thing about her--or even if her name is BLYTHE, BLITHE or something else? Have you heard of this?

In 1871 census he's a 7yr old living with his parents William & Sarah Ann, by 1881 he's disappeared. No census record, no marriage or death record for Kane (tried Cain too). Did he join the army/navy, or did he emigrate? In the early 1900s Phyllis Henderson (Kane's niece, born abt 1892 Birmingham, England) left for ?USA, ??British Columbia, to stay with a relative. Kane would be in his 40s by then, did she go to stay with him? Family story is that Phyllis married a Dutchman, & ended up living in Washington (State, ? DC), maybe in Spokane. She had several children & fostered many more. Any information very gratefully received, as I've hit a wall trying to find Kane & Phyllis. Regards, Ellie
