I am looking for Joseph Henderson of Kentucky. In the book by Milo Erwin titled "Williamson County Illinois" he gives the history of the Henderson family in that county as coming from Kentucky and the Patriarch as Joseph of Kentucky. A death certificate I have of one of his children lists Martin's Ferry as a birthplace. However, I can't locate Martin's Ferry. Also I find the entire family in 1850-1860 in Calloway County KY, but no Joseph. Warren County Ky maybe another place too look as one son Samuel was born in Warren County. I had thought this family came from the union of Joseph Henderson and Margaret "Peggy" Reynolds, but they both died in GA.....I can't make a connection to them and the Henderson family of Carterville, Williamson County Illinois. Do you have any information?
