When was Alfonz Henderson born? As I can't find a Brainard, Illinois, are you sure he wasn't born in Brainard Township, Brown County, South Dakota? I do have an Alfonzo Henderson born about 1856, probably in Boone County, Illinois. They are brothers of my grandfather, Robert Henderson. Robert was born in Cherokee County, Alabama, but I think they were all born in the Farmington, West Virginia area. I was told that they all were coal miners. They would have been born in the mid to late 1800's. They could have possibly been born on a slave plantation. If any of this sounds familiar or if anyone knows anything about this, I would like to hear from you.
