My grandmother was married to T. Hendershot. Her name was Mary Carolyn (or Clarisa) Johnson. She was born in 1879, in Pontiac, Illinois. They were the parents of Tessie Yvonne b. June 12, 1902 in Rockford, Ilinois, and Eva Maxine b. Jan. 31, 1904 in Chacotah, Oklahoma. Sometime after Eva was born T. Hendershot disappeared. We believe he was a son of Joseph Kester and Alcindor Cornelia McHenry.
