    2. Dear Leo, William E. Hendershott published his book in 1988 and died soon after. However his son gave permission to N.Linn Hendershott to make copies and sell them. You can reach him at Arkguy@aol.com or you can buy it on 3 disks from the Hendershot Researchers Newsletter. The editor is Evelyn S. Baer, fawmbaer@aol.com. The "book" has a lot of mistakes and omissions, so with the disks you get a print-out of these facts to change and add to the orginal. On page 176 of W. E. Hendershott's book: Born 12May1824 Newton Twp. Sussex Co NJ, served civil war Private Co. D, 27the, NJ, Inf.m moved 1868 to Scranton, Lackawanna Co PA, applied for pension 6Aug1891, moved before 1900 to Stevensville, Tuscarora Twp. Bradford Co. where he died 4Apr1916 age 73, bur. Camptown Cem. Wife Martha A. (Corson) Decker or second wife, b.Jul1844 England m. 25Aug1864 Newton Methodist Church died 1906 age 63.
