SILAS HELTON born 1786 married SARAH, born; 1791 they had a daughter NANCY,born; 1834 who married URIAH.W.A.COLLINS,born; 1826 O;-) (i have a few pictures of this line) and i also have a elder SILAS SILAS, born@1861 son of JOHN GIDEON HELTON and HANNAH TREECE this couple was married in JEFFERSON,TENNESSEE in 1836 SILAS, (the one born 1861) was the brother of a GEORGE WASHINGTON HELTON,born 1864 and a number of others, these are the only 2 SILAS HELTON i have, but there may be more out there, and i would 'assume' ...:-) that the younger SILAS, b;1786 would be from this general line, .somehow...... (i'd be grateful for any and all connections here) and most of us HELTONS 'KNOW' we have CHEROKEE bloodlines, and i think from more than one direct linage, no documentation has been found that i know of, but remember it wasn't something one could brag about, if they wanted their children schooled, or to own land :-(, so those that Honor our forfathers words in our HELTON line...goes on FAITH, in kinship, Deborah home email; willows@enid.com
