Mary O. Helton Mary O. Helton, 89, of Ames, Iowa, formerly of Anna, died at 9a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1975, in the home of her daughter in Ames. Mrs. Helton was a member of the campground Cumberland Presbyterian Church east of Anna. She was born on Feb. 14, 1886, in Union County to Edmund and Martha Kimmell Hileman. She was married to William Helton on Dec. 24, 1905, in Anna. He died on Jan. 4, 1956. Survivors include two sons, Dennis of Peoria and Carl of Joliet; one daughter, Mary Clark of Ames, Iowa; and tow grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday in McCarty Funeral Home at Anna, with the Rev. David S. Lodge officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
