CHESHIRE ENGLAND, came to America aboard the "FORTUNE", in the early 1600s, 2 years later his wife MARY arrived with their 2 children, aboard the " ANNE" they had married in NORTHWICH,ENGLAND, in 1616, he was twice married, 1..MARY 2..FRANCES, and had a total of 9 children, accounted for, he died in YORK, Ma.....JUNE 1655-56, his daddy is/was; WILLIAM HILTON, b; 1535 ,d; 1605 who married ELLEN MAINWARING, in 1569, both was born, lived and died in ENGLAND, he is the direct line to the HYLTON/HILTON/HELTON CASTLE in ENGLAND, where our family crests/coats of arms are carved into the block walls of the castle, and can be seen there to this day, i believe WILLIAM (the pilgrim) would be the great grandpa of PETER HELTON 1, who married HANNAH HAWKINS,daughter of JAMES HAWKINS, and whom was mentioned here in this thread, MY HYLTON, HILTON,HELTON, lines split at this point, one to TENNESSEE the other to KENTUCKY, and from-there i became a double HELTON, (HYLTON, then HILTON, later changed to HELTON) as the families moved to different regions in America, in kinship, Deborah home email; willows@enid.com A LOVING P/S; MY THANKS TO MY BELOVED COUSINS.FOR TEACHING ME ABOUT OUR FAMILY , COUSINS WHO'S WISDOM I JUST SHARED, IN PART, WITH YOU HERE.
