He settled in Braggadocio, MO, SE corner of MO. George Washington Helton had Cherokee blood. He was married 3 (maybe 4 times). The earliest details I can find through census is that he married Eliza ___?(possibly GOINS) abt. 1860s ( and had my ggrandfather Walker Helton (b. 1868). After Eliza he married Mary A. ___?( possibly WOODRUFF) on Pope Co. IL, 1880 Census. Then finally married Sarah WAGNER, on MO, 1900 Census, in I am interested in any information about George Washington HELTON, his brothers and sisters, mother, father etc. I know he was born in TN, but sure of the county yet. I am awaiting more info on that. I do have lists of all George HELTONs children. Also interested in any info on my ggrandfather's wife's family. She was Racheal COOPER, my ggrandmother.
