Helton. She is listed to have been born in Burl, NC in/around 1848 and married Alex after the Civil War. They had several children: Adam, John Henry, Bufford, Dave, Robert Taylor, Minus (Buster), Hardy, Edgar and Ina. My line is Dave Washington Hayes, my grandfather, married Lillie Bell Smith and they produced Gladys, Alice and Allen (twins), Raymond and Rachel (twins), Paul and Pauline (twins), Ruby and Burford. Pauline and Burford are still alive. Allen was my father. Any info is deeply appreciated. Seem to remember my father taking us to see relatives in Murfreesboro 40 or so years ago and Fox rings a bell. Presently have information on Hardy, Buster and Adams lines only.
