John Helton b. 1763) had sons Elisha (b. 1829) and James (b.1821). Elisha had Elijah b. 1861. Elijah had Carlo B. 1882. My side of the family, James had James N. b. 1857. James N. had Leonard 1883. Leonard was a cousin to Carlo, a nephew to Elijah, a great nephew to Elisha. Leonard had my father Otha Ogden Helton in 1909. As for the Blanton's, my great-grandmother was Matilda Blanton married James Crawford (my grand mother's parents).
