I had to reply to you, but am not sure if this matches exactly. My grandfather, Jonathan Lee Helton, born Oct.1873 in Wolfe Cty, KY, married my grandmother, Fannie J. Centers (born Nov. 1873, in Wolfe Cty, KY). They had 6 children, none with the name Iva. But....2 of the girls were named Icy (b.Nov.1895) and Ivy (b.1901). Ivy is the one I feel you might be looking for, since she married Valentine Brooks. I don't have much more info about my Aunt Ivy, but I am also looking. My dad's name was Edward Carsel Helton.
