Martin was the father of Creed Helton. Creed was the father of Arthur Helton (my father). There are still some of our lineage in that part of Missouri. My cousin Ross developed quite extensive family trees. His current email addresses are erossh@hotmail.com and eross@rocketmail.com. However, I am not sure if he traced anyone back earlier than the parents of Margaret Dobson, Thomas Helton's wife. The area in Indiana where Thomas Helton/Margaret Dobson lived (Houston, Jackson County) is near Heltonville and there were many Heltons around there.
