There is a book "Kentucky Family Roots" that has a story in it about Jonas Helton and his father Carlo Brittan Helton. It mentions that Carlo's father and mother as John Helton and Jemimma Osborne. John was born ca 1809 and his wife was born ca 1814. John Helton's father and mother was John Helton born ca 1765 and died in the 1830's. His wife was Barbara (?) born ca 1766 and died in the 1850's. As far as the story this is the last Generation it has. I can go back a little further. John Helton's father and mother were James Helton born 1728/1730 and died 1786 in Goochland County Virginia. His mother was Susannah Walton that was born in Virginia and died or at least the funeral was held 14 June 1760 in Goochland County, Virginia. James Helton's father was George Helton/Hylton/Hilton who was born 30 July 1699 in St. Peter's Parish, probably in New Kent Co. Va. His wife was Esther (?).
