I'm researching my husband's family and James Riley Landreth was also his great-grandfather. James had a daughter, Lissia (b. 1881). Lissia is my husband's grandmother. I know James Riley Landreth married Mary Ellen Helton, but I do not have a birth or death date for her. Family information says her father was Wesley Helton and her mother (don't know her first name) was a McVey. There are a number of McVey's listed in the Cemetery index in Lawrence Co, IN, but I haven't been working on this line very long, so I've not made a connection. I'm at roxie880@aol.com if you'd like to trade further info. Good luck.
Dear List, I am seeking the marriage record of Joe HELTON & Nancy JOHNSON. Believe the record to be in Douglas Co. MO: she dau. of Thomas Marion Johnson on 1880 census, Douglas Co. MO. Also think marriage would be between 1875-1880. First and only child, Callie, born in 1880, possibly in Douglas Co. MO. Any help appreciated on this family Many thanks, Judy in TX
