VA and died 28 FEB 1855 in Harlan Co. Ky. She married Ephraim Washington Osborne before 1775 in Harlan Co. Ky, son of Ephraim Osborne and Elizabeth Wells Howard. He was born 14 Sep 1754 in Rowan NC and died 9 Nov 1852 in Harlan Co. KY. My family has always lived in Harlan Co. Ky. All except one brother, he lives in Bell Co. Ky. I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers in Harlan Co. Ky. I live in VA. My mom still lives at Ages, Harlan Co., Ky. My dad died 1991. Would love to exchange any info, I had a tooth pulled today, I am in very much pain, I am having cancer surgery Jan. 19th and I just got over pnemonia this week. Say a little prayer for me. My grandfather gave them to me, knowing I was interested in our family history. Tragically, he passed away before he could tell me who they were. He mentioned something about grandparents or great-grandparents, but whose I don't know. The picture with the man and woman and three children had writing on the back. As best as I can decipher, it says, "Granny Polley Helton and Grandad, and Sam Helton and Dorothy Helton, and Lille/Lisa/Little/Lila Christopher." Can anyone help me? His name was Ralph Helton, son of Tesha Gibson and Eulis (or Eulas) Clyde Helton. I can get info on Tesha and Clyde from the 1930 Federal Census (apparently right before they married, as my grandfather was born in 1931.) I cannot seem to get any further than that.
