From everything I've been able to piece together they also have at least one more brother named Hosia and a half sister, Margaret. I have Jason J. being born abt. March 1870. Their father James was born abt. 1834-1835 and died bet. 1884-1900. I believe his name was James Alexander and his father was Alexander and his mother's name is Nancy. Suzie's name is Sarah Susannah Lusk. She was born Nov. 12, 1847 and died May 6, 1917. I have most census's for this family, but unfortunately I am missing the 1880 census to use as positive connections, there are many pages of the Grainger Co., TN 1880 census missing. I'm glad to finally have my search for Jason over! E-mail me and we can trade information!

Dear List: It's been a while since I asked anyone about their Helton families in Magoffin County, Kentucky. Does anyone here connect to them? I am still searching (or picking it back up really) for the parents of Eliza Ann Helton b. ca 1831 who married in 1851 1st. Hezekiah Hammon and in 1868 2nd Benjamin Montgomery. Her children with Hezekiah were Benjamin, George, Isaac, Sarah and Eliza Ann. In the 1870 and 1880 census, Eliza Ann Helton Hammon Montgomery claimed she was born in Virginia, but I have not found a family to connect her with. Any suggestions?
