First, the children were cristened not baptized in the year mentioned. Also the two children, Anna and Carl c. 1778 must have been twins. Sorry about the little mistake. Harriet

    3. It is good to see the Heck list come alive. The hecks I am trying to research start with: Joseph Heck b. 1819 lived most of his life in New Harmony, Posey, IN and died 1890 in White Co., IL. His son Charles b. 1867 in New Harmony, Posey, IN shows up in the 1900 census for White Co., IL died in Washington. Can't seem to find out where Joseph was born. Some records say PA and others say IL??? Good luck to all, Bob _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. 3. Hi Everyone ! Glad to see some new messages on the board. I hope some of you have been getting some responses from others. Maybe now would be a good time for us all to check in and post our Heck data, especially the ones that are giving you trouble. Be sure to try to give dates and places whenever possible. Here's mine: 1) Franklin/Frank Heck, born about 1810 Germany (wish I knew exactly where); died before 1889 in or near Cannelton, Perry County, IN. His wife, Catherine, died there 7 November 1899. Some of the family remained in that area, and others went to Louisville, KY; Memphis, TN; and Little Rock, AR. 2) Loui Frank Heck, born 1840 in Germany; died August 1889 in Little Rock, AR. Married Margaret Annette Bungner. 3) Robert William Heck, born 1877 Little Rock, AR; died Sept. 1943 Los Angeles. I'll start posting tidbits of any and all Heck data I have on other lines that are not mine. Pam (Heck) Robinson
