Hello everyone. I am looking for information on Bertha Mary Heck and her brother Ignatz Heck. She was born in Baden, Baden, Germany April 15, 1841. Ignatz Heck was born in Baden, Baden, Germany May 9, 1830. Bertha Heck came to America in 1858 to live with her brother in St.Louis,Mo. He lived at 604 Dorcus St. in 1860. Ignatz Heck married Karolin unknown. My grandmother met and married my grandfather John Leberman who owned a farm in Illinois. They had 5 sons there then moved to Texas where their only daughter was born. According to the records at Family Search.com their parents were Georg Heck and Maria Anna Unser.
