Anyone have any info on Eva Margaretha (Lingenfelter) Heck. She was married to Balzar Heck first and then she married David Hoffman. But then I have info showing there was a (Eva) Margareth Heck married to George Hoffman. George Hoffman and David Hoffman BOTH died Aug. 12, 1818. They both had a wife with the same name. Does this sound strange to anyone else? ^..^ I don't have names for children if they had any. Does anyone else? In the book "Hoye's Pioneer Families of Garrett Co." it states that David Hoffman I died Aug 12, 1818 at age 72 so this would be the David b. 1746. It also states that his wife, Margaret is probably buried there also. It isn't Margaret, it's Elizabeth (Kiser) Hoffman. I saw the stone and have the picture. Elizabeth would be the spouse of David b. 1776 in Frederick Co. MD but died in Selby's Port MD where he is buried in Blooming Rose cemetery.
