My gggrand father is Thomas Heaton from England. He immagrated, I believe,to Canada and married a woman from New York. My ggrandfather was John Arthur Heaton, born Jun 6,1866, in Canada, possibly Hamilton. John Arthur was a twin, his twin's name is possibly Joseph. He had 6 or 7 brothers and only one sister, Martha Ann or Mary Ann. John is the youngest of all the children. John married Sarah Agnes Colley and they immagrated to Middlesboro KY after their first son was born, John Arthur Heaton Jr. John Sr. became a citizen in 1890 and Sarah and John Jr. in 1891. The rest of the children are; Ethel M, Henry T.,Edith S.. Francis L. and Flarence A., all born in KY. John Jr. was my grandfather, born Dec 14,1890 in Toronto Ontarion Canada. He married Mae L. Christian ( her actual name was lily Mae but she just used her middle name). They had 6 children; Helen, born Feb 15,1912 in TN, Marie, born Oct 6,1913 in TN, Jack Heaton ( John Arthur III) born Nov 11,1915 in WV, William Joseph, Edward Herandon, born Aug 16,1922, and Johnnie Mae ( my mother) born Mar 29,1928 in Lynch KY.
