Old researcher new to the list (Old in more ways than one) I be son of Louise Heaton Lewis (1901), who is daughter of Franklin Eugene Heaton.(b. 1849). Frank's daddy is Uriah Heaton (b.1825) of the Union of John Heaton (and wife, Sarah Brown) from S.C. to Butler County, Al. during 1819. Alabama seems to have Heatons in every nook & cranny so if I can help any of you cousins, I am certainly willin'. B'nard in Greenville, Al. (for lack of space, I am collecting only Alabama Heatons.)
