hi everyone, Yes, it would seem that these Heatons are an elusive group. I, too, am looking for some Heatons, but these are from Rhode Island. I am looking for information on the following: Charles Heaton married Henrietta Gates (born 1809) on Jan 6. 1828. They had the following children: Charles (5/9/1828) David (abt 1829) Lewis (10/29/1831) possibly Thomas (abt 1832) possibly Martin (abt 1836) Charles married Hannah Austin Oates and had two children in Indiana (Hobart): Mary William If anyone has any information about any of these people, please let me know - I have been looking for years and can't find anything else. Henrietta's spouse, Charles, may be the son of David (b. 7/15/1771) and Louisa (Hill), but I can't prove that. Thanks for any help you can give. Lori
