Baptised Albert Edward HEADLEY, 1843 Bristol but known as Edward HEADLEY. Marriage cert Ref: Q.E Dec 1873 11a 537 Cardiff Registry Office Edward HEADLEY/ Emma ROYNON 28 October 1873 Edward HEADLEY 26 Bachelor Blacksmith, 23 Bute Street, Cardiff father Frederick HEADLEY Freestone carver Emma ROYNON 21 Spinster, 22 West Bute Street, Cardiff father Ruben ROYNON Labourer witnesses Jos. Blanning & Elizabeth Blanning By 1881 Emma was working as a barmaid in Bristol - No sign of Edward. Their son, Albert Henry HEADLEY was being looked after by her sister & husband - Elizabeth and Joseph PILSMOOR. Emma died in 1902 in 1906 when Albert Henry married his father was given as Edward HEADLEY, groom, decd. in 1881 2 of Edwards Brothers - George & Frederick were based at Stoke Damerel Barracks, Plymouth.
