He had a son Byrl. George was born in 1867 and died in 1914. Could his son Byrl be your mysterious Albert B.? Also, are you certain the Stephan and Mary are the Grandparents of Albert and not the Great Grandparents? If Albert was born in 1891 he could have been the son of one of their younger children or grandson of one of their older children. Did Albert live in Crawford County, IL while growing up? As an adult?
