Headley was her first married name, and supposedly she had a son named Robert Headley from this marriage. Her maiden name was Mitchell, and she lived in Indianapolis at the time of her marriage to my gggrandfather, which was in 1917. She probably had the baby between 1900 and 1908, as she lists her divorce as "1907 or 8" on her second marriage certificate. We never knew what happened to the child, as she didn't have him with her. Story goes that he was living with one of his grandparents.

His parents were Isaac Powell and Anna Harris - both families being early settlers of what would eventually become Noble Co., OH. Nathan Franklin also was an early settler. Thanks to all the kind folks who have offered me information and encouragement along the way. I've updated my web page again. Check out the Tom & Sue Family File for an index of names and information. It will take a few moments for the file to load. The gray box will turn orange. Click in the orange area and press the F key to pull up the index. Double click on a name to see more information and the connecting tree. I've added many more THRIFT. Some folks were asking about DODSON, LUTTRELL, HEADLEY and there will be some of those too. http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/w/h/i/Susan-Whittington-Maryland/ Sorry if you receive this email more than once as I don't want to leave anyone out!
