My Great Grandmother, Mary Ann Elder( 1847-1938) married James Radabaugh(1848-1890). They had two children Icie M. ( married Carl Binns -Fairmont) and Okie. Okie married Rosie ???? and livid in Shinnston. Went back to that area many years ago with my Father , who showed me among other things the house in Shinnston where his Uncle Okie lived. All I remember is it had the name RADABAUGH in the stone on the front of the house. Does anyone know where in Shinnston the house is, and is it still standing? What originated all these questions is conversation with brother, asking about the origin of the name Okie. Do know Icie is a W.Va. name, ran across it a few times, but never an Okie. Anyone have an answer? Could it be a family name? Thanks, Jean Smith
