Does anyone out there know where I can find proof of the Revolutionary War Service of Charles McIntire who was married to widow Ellen Evans Alexander? They had a daughter Sarah who married Uriah Ashcraft. I have heard he served with the Virginia Line, served on the rowing galley "Hero" and served with the Continental Army at Valley Forge. I need solid proof of what he did. Can't imagine it was all three. Thank you, Irene Dunlevy
You can call the National Archives and they will send you a paper to fill out and they will search for a fee!
