    1. [HCGS] MEETING
    2. Casto, Ruby
    3. The weather was a balmy 69 degrees around 7:00 A.M. and by 9:00 it was raining and the wind was blowing but still we had 13 in attendance at our meeting this morning. It was good to have some with us that hasn't been there for awhile, such as, Danny Jenkins, June Conrad, Elaine Post, Polly Dennison and Kim Ross. Darrell Waugh, the president, said he has less than 20 signed up for the Richmond trip and has to have at least 25 signed up before he even talks to Country Roads about the trip. If you want to go please let Darrell know as soon as possible at dew38@msn.com The dates are September 17th through the 19th. Jerry Hawkinberry, treasurer, will be ordering two new books, Harrison County marriages 1895-1912 and "A Point in History" the Battle of Point Pleasant. The West Virginia History Day will be held in Charleston, WV on the 28th of February and this year we do not have a WV hero from our organization. There will be a German Festival in Sistersville, WV on the 19th of October and if we can get enough volunteers to work a table we are planning on going. Let us know if you would be willing to attend and work the table to sell our publications. Jerry Hawkinberry, treasurer, also had the annual report for the year 2001. Anyone wanting to do research at the Waldomore, Clarksburg, WV on Monday there will be a volunteer working for the full day. John Nuzum will be working in the A.M. and Darrell Waugh will be working in the P.M. To those who haven't paid their dues and intends to do so, please get them in asap in order to get the March newsletter and to remain on our members only list. Dues are $15.00 and mail them to Harrison County Genealogical Society, P. O. Box 387, Clarksburg, WV 26301. Ruby Casto Membership Chairman HCGS
