As the workshop is going to feature various ethnic heritages and genealogy, I would like to see some people volunteer to bring in cookies or another dessert which would be an example of a traditional recipe of a country (in your background or not) or a favorite recipe that was made in your family. For example, I'm thinking of making Welsh Teacakes. This is a traditional recipe from Wales. My mother remembers her grandmother, a Welsh immigrant, making them.
