In one of the letters there was a mention of the area being close to the Peter Righter's farm. Though all my family way back, is from the Marion Co. area , I ws born and always have lived in Pa., so I am not familiar with the local history, other than what I have read in books. Do know from Glenn Lough's "Now and Long Ago" of the attack on Peter Righter's house during the Civil War.
