    3. What a surprise I recieved at the meeting of the Harrison County Genealogical Society this morning. It is also unbelieveable the way that it happened. Our member Sherry Nitschky from Colorado Springs, CO, heard that Bob & I are going to have our 50th anniversary on the 8th of May. She got in touch with Jim Cottrill in Pittsburgh, PA and he got in touch with Ethel Swiger in Elkins, WV. After the meeting was over Darrell said, Jim and Ethel, had something they wanted to do. I'm sorry that Bob couldn't be there as he just never has a good day anymore but everyone I think at the meeting was in on this except me and after the meeting we all went downstairs and had a piece of the anniversary cake that they had bought and a cup of coffee. They even had 50th anniversary plates, napkins and cups. What a surprise this was to me. Would you believe it someone even told Jim Cottrill that I didn't drink coffee so he brought tea bags with him. Oh yes, they even had gold lace placemats. I want to say a great big thanks to each of you that was in attendance today and it certainly was a surprise. What a great group to be associated with.
