Hi Folks, The Harrison County Genealogical Society held their January, 2003 meeting this morning at the Waldomore, Clarksburg, WV. It was not snowing but pouring down the rain and still there were 12 of us in attendance. Darrell mentioned the short meeting we had at the Christmas party in December and stated that he thinks we should go to Ryans again next year for our Christmas party. David Houchin, librarian, said he had been getting newer County Books to replace some of the ones that are pretty well beaten up from so much use. He also received two new books, one on the Gibson family and the other one on the Dever family. Patricia Dennison has been working hard on the upcoming workshop which is to be held on May 17, 2003 at the Caperton Center, Clarksburg, WV. The next planning meeting will be held on Saturday, January 25th at 10:00 A.M.at the Waldomore and she really needs a lot of help. If at all possible please come and give her your support and volunteer. If you have questions about it feel free to contact her at triciad20@cs.com I was busy with memberships today as it is dues time and everyone seems to be getting them sent in.
