Hi Christine, I didn't even think about the Coast Guards but someone sent me the words to their song and it is beautiful. We certainly do need them to guard our coasts. I don't think we have anyone in church that was in the Coast Guard. We have more Navy than any other branch of the military. We are a small church but have several Veterans as our congregation is an older one. Thanks for the reminder. I'm trying now to find the sheet music. We have the Navy Hymn in our older Methodist Hymal because one of our ministers had been in the Navy and every so often he would want to sing it.
