I have had several inquiries about Bob and I did bring him home yesterday and he has to go back on Tuesday to get everything hooked up. He has one wire already in place for his tremor but not hooked up yet and then he has one wire on the outside of his head and it is hooked up to a 9 volt battery pack which he can turn on from 1/2 to 10. At 1/2 he begins to feel an electric shock. We are not sure just how this works. On Tuesday they will put this wire down through his brain somehow and run wires down the back of his neck and place two pacemaker devices, one of each shoulder and then he will have a remote control to use to activate them for the pain and tremor. No wires will be on the outside. It has been quite an experience for the both of us. This surgery was done at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV by neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Bloomfield.
