    1. [HCGS] Before creation of Harrison - which county to research?
    2. For the record - does anyone have a rundown on which counties to research for Harrison County's early years (land, marriage, death)? For example, during the early 1700s when we were "Augusta County" - were the records kept in Richmond, Morgantown, Wheeling, or in Clarksburg? I'm sure this must be in "Handybook for Genealogists" - but I don't have a copy on hand. Thanks! Sharon Bramhall
