Below is the update on Patricia Viellenave that I received this morning. Ruby Dad and I spent all day at Brooks yesterday going to all of mom's therapy sessions so we could be certified to continue her recovery at home. We are picking mom up about 11ish today and bringing her home. This will be a great Valentines day present for us. Thankfully mom will require very little equipment when she gets home but she will require 24 hour care for a while. I hate asking for help but this is where Dad and I will need help at. When I need to return to work I'll need someone or a couple people just to drop through for a little while during the day. Mom can walk but she needs some assistance to make sure she is steady on her feet and that she can maneuver the house with and without her walker. The walker is just temporary until she can pay attention and walk at the same time, something we take for granted. Mom will be on a couple of medications as well but those will be given in the mornings and nights with meals so I think we'll be good with that. Anyone who wants to come sit with her please let me know when is good for you and we'll put it together. I appreciate all the prayers and well wishes for her, the hard work is about to begin. I can only pray that her memory will snap back in within a few days of being home and back to a routine she is more used to. I will continue to keep you updated.
