Enjoyed the story by Ethel. Looking forward to reading more of it. I have the book, 'Echoes From the Blockhouse'...the Thomas Harbert family saga....by Brian Harbert and David Harbert. The Harberts are not my family. The book was a gift. It has some nice pictures of the Harberts in it. I recommend reading it even if it is not your family line. A well done book on Harbert genealogy. Several years ago there was a link provided to the membership that took us to a work on the Queen Family. I have a printout of some of the material, but would very much like to see if the link is still available. The cover page that I have says the history was written by Stephen Post Queen of Reedsville, Ohio 93 years of age. Printing was by The Banner Printing Company of Parkersburg in 1942. Can anyone tell me if they still know of the link and would it be possible to share it again? I have a cousin who is 86 years young whose mother was a Queen from Upshur County. Another cousin and I are working on her family history. Having access to this record would be a great help in our research. Thanks so much for you help! That may have been the Hackers Creek Pioneer Descendants (HCPD) website. http://hackerscreek.com/ I gathered some info on the Queen family as well, related to my Sprouse line. It was part of the Don Norman files. Go to the website and click on Virtual Library and you should see a link to the Don Norman files. Anna, First there are several pages on Rootsweb.ancestry.com that include research done by others on the Queen Family, some of them cite the Queen Family History. Second here is a site http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/u/b/a/Bob-Ubaudi/GENE56-0001.html that has a lot of the Queen Family. Third, I have a lot of data on the Queen family as I am a Queen descendant - let me known what your are looking for and I may be able to help. I have all three versions of the Queen Family History.
