There were only five of us in attendance at the meeting of the Harrison County Genealogical Society this morning. In the absence of Darrell Waugh, president and John Nuzum, vice president, David Houchin librarian filled in as the acting president. The Christmas dinner was held in December and Dick Wilt, webmaster, said pictures of those that attended are on the webpage. David said that he and Diana Johnson have been looking at catalogs to see if there are any books that we need to order. We did get the labels on the newsletters and they are ready to mail. Dick Wilt would have taken them to be mailed today, but David wasn't exactly sure how to separate them by zip codes. He will try to get them mailed on Tuesday since Monday will be a holiday. Dick Wilt, webmaster, said that you will be able to get Ruby's notes on your phone at http://www.wvhcgs.com/pda.html. He also said all notes and stories are in the archives on the web page. We also decided that we will be needing new pens, so Dick is going to see about ordering them. I picked up a lot of renewals today so I will try to get the membership cards in the mail the first part of the week.
