    3. Linda, The information on the trip has been sent to HCPD and also Marion County. HCGS has taken this one day trip to DC several times and it works out just fine being the one day. Several people still work and they take the day off from work to go and two days would be an inconvenience to them. If you went to the Archives I don't think there are steps there. I haven't gone on the trip since the late 90's due to Bob's illness, but it is just a nice one day trip. We leave 5:00 A.M. from behind the library, stop over in Maryland for breakfast, get in DC about 10:00 A.M. and you are free to do whatever you want until 5:00 P.M. when the bus picks you back up at the Archives. A couple of years they kept the bus and driver and went sightseeing. Maybe Diana can give you more information on it. Thanks, Ruby

    3. I announced the price would be $40.00 today at the DAR Central District meeting and several ladies told me they are planning on going. I told them to let Dave know for sure if they are going.
