I'll let someone else explain why the September newsletter is late. I don't have anything to do with the newsletter but I know at one meeting they said David had taken it to be mailed and they didn't accept it. Ruby
Received mine yesterday in Va Bch. Was a little surprised to see that it said September newsletter. Thought maybe it got lost in the mail. Looked for a postmark date, but there was none. From the comments, I guess that's what I was supposed to get. I had a busy summer with a husband getting radiation for lung cancer ,kids and family coming to visit, etc. Just read the July Newsletter. Thank you for including the information about John Elder. My great grandmother Mary Ann "Molly" Elder Radabaugh (1847-1938) is the 4 year old Mary listed among the children of John Elder, Jr and Charlotte Sparks. She married James W. Radabaugh (1848-1890) , on November 19, 1871. I have her Bible, though it has no info other than her name as Molly Elder and again as Molly Radabaugh and presented by Sina Sparks, who I think was an aunt. Children of Molly and James Radabaugh were Icie M. Radabaugh, Binns of Fairmont and Okey G. Radabaugh of Shinnston.
Ruby, I would love to have some of the old Journals. I would be glad to pay the cost of postage. I don't like to see things thrown away.
