Sharon, The Clarksburg "Exponent" is real good about publishing pix like that & asking readers to ID those in the photo. I'm fairly certain that the "Exponent" covers most of Doddridge Co. Tell them all you know about it & see what they can do. If it were me, I WOULD send them a copy as they may not be able to return it to you. Robt Day published one last year in which his mother & my dad were the only two surviving. For us, just the clipping is a gem. I can't seem to find an official Doddridge Co. genealogical website on which to post an unidentified group photo of several men, taken outside a church. This 5x& photo was within an old chest which I purchased at the Absolom Ash (1829-1914) estate sale on Broad Run. Any suggestions? <Sharon><
I want to let everyone know that I am back home and many many thanks for all of your prayers and concerns while I was in the hospital. Thanks also for the beautiful cards that I received. I had a stack waiting on me when I went to my room from surgery which was about 5 in the evening. I just downloaded all of my e-mails and there were 212 and I do not feel like reading them now. I will get around to it as I gain more strength. The surgery was more extensive than they thought it would be. Please keep both Bob and me in your prayers as today is a very bad day for him. Thanks once again. Ruby
Thanks everyone for the help. finely got through. Betty
Hi, I think Fairmont General has had that for a while too. Beverly Walter
I had no problem, Betty. What a great idea - I bet that will catch on at all the hospitals. <Sharon>< BettRine@aol.com wrote: > Did anyone get through on www.Mongeneral.com > > I try but didn't get through. > > Betty. > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
The Cheer Card site comes up right away for me. It's a great idea. Hi to everyone, I don't know any more right now. I hope we get another mail soon. Thank you for caring.
Hi Betty, I sent a card to Ruby with no problems. It is a very good service to the patients. By the way, does anyone have a report on how Ruby is? Thanks] Arden and Ethel BettRine@aol.com wrote: > > Did anyone get through on www.Mongeneral.com > > I try but didn't get through. > > Betty. > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
Betty - I sent a card using that e-mail address and it went through just fine. The address goes to the hospital's home page and there are many different types of cards you can select from. They print it out and give it to the patient. It is really a great service. I hd never seen it used before. Kathryn
Did anyone get through on www.Mongeneral.com I try but didn't get through. Betty.

I'm glad Ruby is doing ok.I will keep her in my prayers.
Sorry I did not post yet. I got a message from Bob on her computer: " I'm writing to let you know that everything went well with my mother's (Ruby's) surgery. .She is real sore and can't wait to get back home. Thanks for keeping her in your prayers."
Has anyone heard how Ruby is getting along after her surgery?? Kathryn Kyle Hall
Thank you, glad you got through. Yes, I thought it is a very nice thing they are doing. I have never seen it before till this. I am supposed to get an email from Ruby's son tonight about how she is doing and I will post to the board. Sherry
Sherry - forget the first e-mail - I got it figured out, and sent her a card using the hospital's address as you gave it. That is a really nice feature. Have never seen it used in hospitals up here. Kathryn
Sherry - I just tried to send Ruby a Blue Mountain get well card, using that address and the message kept saying invalid address. Was there some other part to the address? Kathryn Kyle Hall
Hi to everyone, I just wanted to let you know that Ruby Casto is having surgery today. The hospital will let you create a card on the computer and they will deliver it to her. It is a wonderful service. Here is their web address: > www.mongeneral.com > > Please add her to your prayers, > Thank you very much, > Sherry
