Here is a link to the Harrison County Gen Web page. It lists Lost Creek as being in Grant district but I'm not sure what section of the district it is in. http://www.rootsweb.com/~wvharris/districts.htm
Hi Ruby, Good seeing YOU, How is Bob? Earlier this week Sue went out of town. Maybe she is back by now. Jim
Folks, Sue Moore, one of the founders of HCGS, is the person that has the webpage. When she logs on maybe she can tell you why you can not access it. I just tried and could not get into it either. Ruby Casto Membership Chairman for HCGS [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude Virus]
Hello, Does anybody know what District Lost Creek was part of in 1930? Grant District? East or West? Thanks, Christine

News: ASIMO Robot Coming to a City Near You We saw it in person, and there is nothing that describes Honda's 4-foot-tall, walking, talking ASIMO robot better than *cool*. The robot was in New York City with Honda executives to launch its US tour. Starting next month, ASIMO will do its thing in major cities across the country, simultaneously promoting science, math, and engineering education. Honda is also sponsoring an essay contest. The school that comes up with the best robot essay will get a personal visit from ASIMO in March of 2004. Check out our story, slideshow, and ASIMO-in-action movie for highlights of the event. http://eletters1.ziffdavis.com/cgi-bin10/flo?y=eTrB0CyOjG0EvR0uAf0AS
Yesterday, I just happened to see the last half of the Oprah Winfrey show and I'm glad I did. Maya Angelou, Billy Crystal and Sherman Alexie were on talking about their family history. We have not made an arrangement with a publisher yet, but we will soon be working that out, probably with Heritage Books. We would be happy for you to announce these plans and solicit names and addresses from people interested in purchasing it. You can send them, or have them send them, to us by e-mail at: (djthorn17@aol.com) or regular mail: 171 E. Main St., Salem, WV 26426. Any such information will help us determine the number to print. Thank you for your interest and support. Janet Thorngate, Secretary Cemetery Assn.
Tricia, You must be right, I can't access either. Jim
This is the site that I have bookmarked. However, the website didn't come up when I clicked on it. Maybe it's down right now. BTW, I don't know if anyone has sent you a response or not. When I hit reply to your letter, it only goes to you not the HCGS list. I went ahead and added the group's address to this email. http://dttwv01.org/hcgs/INDEX.HTM Patricia
Hi Everybody, I thought I had the website bookmarked for the Society but I can't seem to find it. Help? Christine

Hi Ruby, Glad to hear things look good for BOB, I should have stopped by with my camera. We could have taken Bob's picture and I could have taken YOU to Dinner. Just an HOUR from Pittsburgh to Morgantown. Love U and BOB, Jim
Hi, Bob had his surgery on Monday and it took almost six hours. The Dr is very well pleased how everything went and he said, Bob was a real trooper through all of it. It sure has been an experience. The piece they put on his head had four clamps and they numb the area these clamps will be holding and they go all the way through the skin but not the skull. He looked like he had just landed from outer space. He has not had any pain or tremor and it isn't even hooked up yet. The Dr. said, by the Grace of God he really is pretty sure they hit the right spot for both places. He will have everything hooked up this coming Monday. I have been staying in Morgantown but needed to come home this evening to get some things done. They thought about letting him come home today but would you know it he tried to get up twice last night and fell so they are going to have to give him some therapy. And too they had not even had him out of bed or walked him so of course he would be weak. They did walk him down the hall and had him up in the chair today. Thanks for all of your prayers and concerns. Ruby [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude Virus]
