    1. [HCGS] Website for those with interest in Spanish heritage
    2. Suronda Gonzales sent me a letter about the workshop and her website that I thought might interest some of the list members, especially those with Spanish heritage. I forwarded it once and it didn't go through. I copied and pasted the important information. Patricia Dennison Saw that you're doing a workshop soon, and thought you might want to add our website that focuses on Asturian immigrants from Spain to the United States and other parts. http://www.asturianus.org As you might know, Spaniards from this region were quite numerous in Harrison County during the first two decades of the twentieth century. There are several families in the area who are still closely connected to this history. In order to post at the site, folks must first register (at no cost of course). We'd love to have questions and reactions from anyone interested in this community. Best of luck with your workshop,

    2. That is a wonderful service you have done, by putting that together. I was hoping for a connection with one of my lines! What a woman she is... The closest I could get is with a maternal great grandfather , Leonard Funk Brahm, who also fought at Cold Harbor (Coal Harbor). He then came to WV and ended up settling in Fairmont. Thanks so much. 1. [HCGS] Pictures are posted
    2. Hi All, I have posted the pictures from yesterdays meeting at the Waldomore on HCGS@MyFamily.com. Come and try a piece of Ruby's cake. I can try and put them on a picture site but most of YOU have not gone there when I posted. The picture sites are all free for guest. What happens is YOU have to sign in and pick a password on almost every site. It is free but they take YOU in through a sign in page where they hope YOU will buy pictures. YOU don't have to buy pictures YOU can just view. The pictures they print are first class, just like the photos YOU buy at the store. My sister and daughter in law buys them all the time. I have even bought some myself. The service is fast. Maybe I can put them on my Tribal Web Page and pretend Ruby is part of the Family. I wish I was related to this nice person.
