I was going to remind you if you change your e-mail address or your mailing address please let us know so we don't have e-mails bouncing back. Send them to David Houchin [email protected] David Kuhl [email protected] Ruby Casto [email protected] The three of us will need your changes. Thanks, Ruby
There were only five of us in attendance at the meeting of the Harrison County Genealogical Society this morning. In the absence of Darrell Waugh, president and John Nuzum, vice president, David Houchin librarian filled in as the acting president. The Christmas dinner was held in December and Dick Wilt, webmaster, said pictures of those that attended are on the webpage. David said that he and Diana Johnson have been looking at catalogs to see if there are any books that we need to order. We did get the labels on the newsletters and they are ready to mail. Dick Wilt would have taken them to be mailed today, but David wasn't exactly sure how to separate them by zip codes. He will try to get them mailed on Tuesday since Monday will be a holiday. Dick Wilt, webmaster, said that you will be able to get Ruby's notes on your phone at http://www.wvhcgs.com/pda.html. He also said all notes and stories are in the archives on the web page. We also decided that we will be needing new pens, so Dick is going to see about ordering them. I picked up a lot of renewals today so I will try to get the membership cards in the mail the first part of the week. If you haven't paid your dues, they are $10.00 and can be paid by mailing them to: Harrison County Genealogical Society P O Box 387 Clarksburg, WV 26301 Darrell' wife Betty called me and she still does not know the results of his tests and said it would not be until Tuesday because of the holiday on Monday. Weather permitting the next meeting will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010. Ruby Casto Membership Chairman of HCGS

I just talked to Darrell Waugh's wife Betty and she told me that he has had a pet scan and also the biopsy and they ought to know in two or three days the results. Please keep Darrell and his family in your prayers. I will give you an update as soon as I hear anything else. Ruby
This is the reminder of the meeting of the Harrison County Genealogical Society. It will be held tomorrow, January 15th on the second floor of the Waldomore at 10:00 A.M. Looks like the weather will cooperate tomorrow as it is suppose to be in the 40's. Ruby Casto Membership Chairman of HCGS
I have made an adjustment to the WVHCGS Web Site to make it fit on your pda, phone etc. Try it and let me know if it works. I have a monitor the size of a very small postage stamp so doesn't work on mine. If someone is into the latest gadgets let me know if it works. http://www.wvhcgs.com/pda.htm Dick
