Harvey J. Hays migrated on to SD and according to family record. Harvey J. Hays and Elizabeth Adams Hays' children were: John Silas (called Silas), Ida, James Canby (called Canby), Frank, Jannie and Emma. James Canby settled for a while around Cushing, OK. (Some of his family is still there). He married Addie Cordelia Mowery in Stillwater, OK 10/20/1894. Children: Berna Ravens, Hobert M., Harvey J., Ella Ester, James Canby. Ella Ester moved to CA and danced with the Foxes Follies under the name Carmen Novarro. Harvey J. Hays married Clarice Embry. Children: Vernon R., Mary, Cordelia, John, Robert (Bob), and Oma Kay. Hobert M. married Nettie Breeze. Children: Viola, Harold, Johnny Mac, Richard, Russell Canby, Joann.
